Journal Into The New Year!

When it comes to the New Year, we all come up with some type of resolution to start the year with a bang. But as the year goes on, we forget about what we promised and continue life as usual.

But what if there was one habit, instead of a resolution, that you can start and keep for the whole year? It’s call journaling. Yes, even for those that hate writing; you can start this habit and turn out to really enjoy journaling. I happen to love writing so when I received the above journal from a great friend, I got really excited.

Here are a few steps to start journaling:

  • journal
  • pen
  • quiet time
That’s it.
Find a journal that you like and a pen that you can write with. Then find that quiet time, whether it’s early in the morning before work or late at night before you go to sleep.
Shut down everything from the tv to your cell phone. MHM. I know that one is hard but you can do it! If you need some motivation before writing listen to some instrumental music to get you going. Then write on. Write from your highs and lows of the day to what you are grateful for. Pen down your dreams and aspirations to any idea that is running around in your head.
The purpose of this is to clear your mind and help you create a lifestyle of taking care of YOU!
